Painted Portraits
This portfolio is dedicated to my digital paintings which are offered as a commission option, majority being past work completed for clients. These are drawn in procreate on my iPad, using oil paint inspired brush sets to give a look of a traditional painting. I have experience painting on canvas as well, and use knowledge from that skill to complete these pieces. I focus on texture, lighting, and do my best to capture the likeness and life of the subjects in these pieces. I love to take special care into making their eyes feel alive.

Semi-Realistic Paintings
This section of paintings is for the semi-realistic painted sketch commission option. Some of these are past work for clients and others are memorial pieces of my own pets. These are drawn digitally in procreate on my iPad, where I colour a sketch in a painting style while keeping the lines of the sketch intact- while the painted portraits are lineless. Less photorealism, but more artistic license and stylisation. I focus on the animal’s most notable features to maintain their likeness while simplifying the form.

This style is meant to be a bit experimental, dynamic and, well, stylised! I use thick lineart and defined shapes to capture your pet’s features and likeness. I like to use sharp, almost geometric shapes with these, but it depends on the pet and what you, the client, would like. Skunk on the left is a bit sharper and simplified, but for Puddles on the right I went a touch more realistic and used some softer shapes.
